This event is open to all whether or not you are an IOC member. We welcome everyone to register and join this special event!

The ACRS International Outreach Chapter (IOC) was established with the following purposes:

• Bring together individuals/organisations interested to contribute to road safety improvements in Asia & LMICs;
• Share & discuss learnings, experiences & opportunities with fellow IOC members;
• Encourage, support & advise each other on specific issues/challenges through expertise, experience & evidence sharing;
• Open up collaboration & partnership opportunities.

The IOC has so far attracted almost 60 members from more than 20 countries around the world. Following the 3 IOC meetings held to date, an IOC member survey was conducted to review the members’ perspectives and experiences of the IOC as part of ensuring the sustainability of the IOC into the future. As the new Decade of Action for Road Safety 2021-2030 becomes available globally and the need for enhanced support to LMICs (which suffer 93% of global road crash deaths) continues, initiatives such as the IOC remain of vital importance.

This pre-Conference event will be the 4^th IOC meeting where we as a group will have the opportunity to discuss the survey results and contribute to shaping the future of the IOC. We will also have the opportunity to learn from each other about the road safety work to date and intentions for the next decade by the members representing multiple countries around the world.

Those who are not yet IOC members are welcome to join this 4^th IOC meeting and become part of this exciting group of people dedicated to improving road safety outcomes in LMICs.
