Workshop Parallel Session
Speaker: Sally Branson
Date and time: Thursday 22 May 2025, 1:00pm - 2:45pm
SESSION OVERVIEW
What sets successful family enterprises apart isn't the absence of challenges but their preparedness and response when faced with the unexpected. Join crisis management expert Sally Branson of SBCG for an intensive workshop that will equip you with the strategic frameworks and practical tools needed to not just weather storms but emerge stronger. Drawing from decades of experience guiding family businesses through critical moments, Sally will share proven methodologies for crisis preparedness, reputation management, and stakeholder communication that can mean the difference between setback and success.
Perhaps counterintuitively, periods of crisis often present the most powerful catalysts for transformative growth and innovation. This workshop goes beyond traditional crisis management to explore how moments of disruption can become platforms for positive change. Through real-world case studies and interactive scenarios, you'll learn how to identify hidden opportunities within challenges, leverage crisis situations to accelerate necessary changes, and build stronger, more resilient family business structures.
Sally will guide you through the essential steps of creating a crisis-ready culture that turns potential threats into strategic advantages, ensuring your family business doesn't just survive unexpected challenges but uses them as springboards for growth and renewal.
